Free Kindy Program

Kindergarten, known as kindy, is a part-time educational program for children in the year before Prep. Kindy is 15 hours per week, 40 weeks per year and is free for Queensland children from 1 January 2024.

Our government approved Kindy program is run by qualified teachers - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.

The government will cover 15 hours of the Kindy Program per week for 40 weeks a year. Additional hours (outside Kindergarten program hours) or days will incur additional cost. Please note children must be enrolled in our centre for three Kindy program days to be eligible for Free Kindy.

Our Kindy Terms for 2024

Term 1 - Monday 22nd January to Thursday 28th of March. 

Term 2 - Monday 15th April to Thursday 21st June

Term 3 - Monday 8th July to Thursday 12th September

Term 4 - Monday 30th September to Thursday 6th December
